An evidence-backed catalogue behind every result

Product Intelligence is the platform layer that screening, design, specification and procurement all read from: an evolving catalogue of BIPV and envelope products where every authoritative value is traceable to a source — and every material change passes human review.

Coverage grows continuously across manufacturers, regions and product roles. It is an evolving catalogue, not a claim of complete worldwide coverage.

The catalogue

Built for real BIPV supply chains

Families, variants and the companies behind them

Canonical organisations with brands, OEM/ODM and distributor relationships — one brand is not one factory. Product families carry the catalogue line; variants carry the concrete model data: dimensions, rated power, electrical characteristics, transparency, glazing make-up, weights and custom-sizing limits.

Generating and energy-managing products

Generating products (PV glass, façade modules, solar tiles) and energy-managing products (dynamic glazing, solar-control films) are modelled in their own rights — daylight and solar-heat-gain data is stored in its own schema and never disguised as generation capacity.

Certification evidence, source-verbatim

Certifications are recorded as structured records — standard code, body, classification, validity, jurisdiction — kept verbatim. No equivalence is inferred between different national classification systems.

Fire performance, scoped honestly

Fire-test records carry the tested assembly, build-up, orientation and laboratory. Where a rating applies only to the tested assembly, the platform says so — every time. It is never narrated into universal compliance.

Provenance

Every fact knows where it came from

Each technical field links to a source — datasheet, certification document, product page or certification body — with a confidence tier. Unknown values stay unknown: they are never converted into zero or a plausible-looking default. "Found on the internet" is not "verified".

From catalogue to specification

Deterministic matching, AI-assisted explanation

State your requirements once — power, dimensions, transparency, certifications, fire classification, market availability — and the deterministic matcher evaluates every catalogue product against them with exact reasons. Missing product data yields "insufficient data", never a silent pass.

Requirements, scoped

Required criteria gate eligibility; preferred criteria shape ranking; informational criteria feed comparison. Scope requirements to a project, a building, a surface or a single zone.

Exact verdicts

Every outcome carries a human-readable reason — "clear VLT 64% exceeds required 60%" — and a fit score you can decompose. Missing data is reported as insufficient, with the exact fields listed.

Advisory, on a leash

An AI-assisted advisory layer can explain the shortlist, surface trade-offs and draft manufacturer questions. It cannot promote an ineligible product, invent a certification, or override the matcher — every advisory is validated against the frozen results it explains.

Customer-added products are welcome: a submission stays usable in your project context, clearly labelled, and enters the global catalogue only after review.

Continuous monitoring

The catalogue stays under review

Product data ages: datasheets are revised, products are discontinued, brands are rebranded. Continuous monitoring feeds findings into a human review queue — discoveries never silently overwrite verified facts, and discontinued products are never deleted from history.
